尽管这两项协议尚未正式标准化，但在互联网工程任务组（IETF）的努力下，已有越来越多的企业开始使用新技术。
测试期间，Facebook通过自有的Mvfst方案处理了内部流量，在负载均衡等方面有更好的优化。不过在应用程序端，目前主要还是使用的HTTP/3。
博客文章写道：“测试表明，Quic在多项指标上迎来了改进”。具体说来是，请求中的错误更少、等候时间更短、报头响应也更小。
当然，该公司还面临着一些需要修复的bug，其中大多与应用程序的逻辑有关。此外Facebook团队还必须优化其代码，以提升CPU性能、调试并改进网络拥塞状况。
在这些优势面前，Facebook希望尽快将更多功能迁移至Quic上实现， 终达成“真0-RTT连接”的目标。
后，除了让主站客户端和Web版支持Quic和HTTP/3（需搭配适当的Web浏览器），该公司旗下的其它服务也将陆续实施基于Quic的处理方法（比如Instagram、WhatsApp和Messenger）。
